    Mosaic Shopper is searching for an Account Director with shopper marketing and CPG experience from the agency or client side. Experience working on Target and regional grocers is preferred. The Account Director functions as the main client relationship partner in building shopper marketing program deliverables across several key customer channels. The Acount Director provides strategic leadership and direction to both the internal team and to the client across all business units. The Account Director serves as the primary agency contact for the business as it pertains to larger strategic initiatives and assignments, often engaging with Director client level.



    • Build and maintain relationships with client, retailers and Mosaic / Acosta network of resources.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for select Mosaic Shopper clients. Cultivate strong relationships with client trade, sales and marketing teams, including 3rd party agencies as required, to harmonize cross-functional client communications.
    • Provide strong thought leadership across various brand IATs.
    • Partner with strategic planning and creative teams for concept development.
    • Lead annual and program planning while overseeing creative development, digital and tactical execution for client’s brand(s).
    • Manage day to day program activity with account team, including the creative process from briefing through concept development with respect to brand programming.
    • Identify and suggest Training/Development needs, as well as provide ongoing performance feedback, and instill constant feedback top-down.
    • Engage appropriate internal resources as needed to ensure best quality of work.
    • Ensure all plans and creative are in line with Mosaic Shopper marketing best practices.
    • Forecast client projects annually/quarterly/monthly for revenue and resource planning.
    • Oversight of flawless execution – supervise the development, design and production of shopper marketing programs within scope of work:
      • Work in compliance with client approved process. Proactively find ways for continuous optimization.
      • Confirm all elements of promotion are being executed at all levels.
      • Communicate all estimated costs associated with project to client.
      • Supervise accurate development and management of all project timelines.
      • Work with team and analytic partners to develop measurement criteria for all projects and hold team accountable for results.
    • Stewardship - track time worked by project to ensure compliance and maintain margins. Proactively manage hours with client.
    • Prepare responsibility lists and status reports for each client and program(s).
    • When applicable manage vendors: i.e. triple bidding, creative personnel, printers, digital vendors, sampling companies, premium suppliers, etc.
    • Communicate project recaps to all team members and clients.
    • May require travel 10%-20% of time.


    • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, or related field
    • Minimum 8 to 10 years of agency-side shopper marketing experience, retail or consumer packaged goods preferred
    • Ideally would have experience in working with Target and Regional Grocery accounts
    • Strategic consumer behavior knowledge as it relates to interactions within the digital, mobile, e-commerce and brick and mortar environments
    • Drives a culture of effectiveness, ensuring that objectives are clear and evaluation is robust
    • Experience working in multi-agency environment
    • Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives simultaneously and influence associates for results
    • Strong attention to detail, and ability to analyze results
