    We are currently looking for a Trainer |Professional Channel for our client Google to join our innovative, growing company.  

     

    The training team is an integral part of the marketing team of our client - a leader in consumer electronics. The “PRO” Trainer delivers brand product and sales skills training to various professional installation trade, install networks and B2B partnerships. As a “PRO” Trainer, you will deliver consistently superb, enthusiastic and engaging training experiences to our learners.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with the leadership of Sales and Partner teams to determine sales training priorities and what training to deliver to ensure the highest business impact
    • Conduct training initiatives, continual education, and workshops for all Google Hardware products
    • Establishes strong relationships with installation trades (Security, HVAC, Electrical, Custom Integration, Plumbing, Solar, Connectivity) within their market to gain a better understanding of the business needs
    • Participate in business development initiatives with client, educating businesses on client products and services
    • Manage creation and implementation of hands-on, face-to-face delivery of product and technical training for management and non-management staff including train-the-trainer activities
    • Design and implement follow-up activities to strengthen and sustain knowledge gained and skills developed from technical training programs and courses
    • Continuously improve / customize existing programs and courses
    • Partners with client team members to ensure compliance with training KPIs for Professional Channel partners
    • Coordinate, design and implement training/education plans to drive Professional Channel sales; follows product training objectives
    • Participate in training planning conversations with retail field team, partner managers, stakeholders and subject matter experts to tailor content for learners as required
    • Travel domestically to support partners and internal team. (Approximately 75%)

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
    • 5+ years of experience in education, training/development or academic teaching required
    • 3 - 5 years of experience conducting sales training for a tech company with a sales team, or for a public training provider
    • Preferred hands-on trade technical experience
    • Experience working with various professional installation trade, install networks and B2B partnerships is required
    • Travel 75% to various Professional Channel clients (note – travel might be in weekly blocks of time)
