  • Overview

    The Copywriter provides creative and strategic writing for all agency clients and brands for all types of marketing material, including but not limited to coupons, tear pads, websites, in store and out of store signage, radio and TV/video scripts.  Assist in the creative and conceptual development for client brand(s) as they relate to consumer marketing efforts.  Communicate, present and create advertising and promotional campaigns that meet client’s sale and marketing objectives and works closely with Art Directors, Sr. Art Directors and Sr. Copywriters to ensure all materials meet or exceed clients expectations and clearly communicate in the idea, program or brand. 


    • Pro- actively deliver the utmost in quality, excellence and results via the written word for existing and prospective clients.
    • Meet and discuss client’s needs with cross functional teams;
    • Research the product and/or company to be written about
    • Work with the design team to develop ideas and suitable media for the copy;
    • Use background information and work with an art director to find the best way of communicating the idea to the consumer;
    • Write copy for all print communication, as well as scripts, TV and radio;
    • Present to the client and discuss amendments (if any;
    • Work with creative team to rewrite and visually represent the copy until the client is satisfied;
    • Contribute to client strategy
    • Keep up-to-date with what is happening in the advertising and marketing industry;
    • May travel to meet clients and to visit studios or locations for filming or recording;
    • Other duties assigned.


    • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business filed.
    • Thorough understanding of core advertising and marketing across all types of media-print, in-store, TV, radio, online/digital and more as needed.
    • Entry level position with proven writing ability/portfolio preferred.
    • Must be self-motivated/self starter
    • Should have a passion for words and an appreciation for graphic design.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as strong research and analytical ability.
    • Must be able to work to deadlines.
    • Strong presentation skills, speaking ability and interpersonal skills
    • Be able to prioritize multiple demands simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
    • Confident, creative, team player with a proven sense of urgency.
    • Proficiency with computers including in-depth knowledge of Microsoft suite of products especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
    • Must have a valid driver’s license.
